It was early in the morning when the alarm went off on his phone, announcing another day of classes, the bicolor-haired Delta turned off the device, annoyed and tired of laying in bed just to watch the morning rays of sunlight flooding into the bedroom; after a pause to take a deep breath, he decided to get up and face the day.

Shouto dragged his feet up to the bathroom to wash himself up; if he had 3 hours of sleep the previous night, it would've been much, but it's not like he had a choice...

That morning promised to try his patience, so he took longer than usual to finish his hygiene routine.

On his way to the kitchen, he passed by the entrance of the Oriental mansion and spotted his sister's familiar figure getting ready to leave.

"Good morning, Shouto!" The Omega greeted him cheerfully.

"Good morning." Her brother replied, distracted. "Leaving early?"

"Oh, it's just that I have a lot of paperwork to do at the school and I need to finish it before the start of classes." She explained.

"I see..." Shouto said slowly. It was in moments like those he'd like to have a little support or someone who could appease the situation, but he knew he didn't have a right to try and convince his sister otherwise, even though he always had to deal with his frustrations on his own, after all.

Fuyumi sighed softly, she knew all too well what went on in his mind at that moment. "Well, I need to get going. I left your uniform folded in the laundry room and breakfast on the table and, Shouto..." She called before going down the step to the genkan*.

"Yes?"

The Omega hesitated for a bit. "Try to go easy on Touya, okay?"

Shouto lowered his eyes, annoyed. He didn't want to speak up against her, but he knew he couldn't trust himself to keep that promise. "I'll try." He mumbled.

He didn't want to take it out on Fuyumi, she tried really hard to keep the house in order, only did he want Touya to acknowledge that as well.

Fuyumi eyed him with a tired smile; she was afraid of what could happen upon leaving the boys alone, unfortunately though, she didn't have time to prevent any attempt of murder, nor even start a lecture.

"I'm off." She announced as she checked her wristwatch. "See you later."

Shouto nodded. "Until then."

Without another word, the older one put on her shoes and left out the door on her way to her work shift, leaving the youngest to deal with that situation on his own.

After a sigh to try and calm down, Shouto dragged himself into the dining room to eat, once there, he smelled something weird from the other room.

He knew he shouldn't cut in - and he didn't want to -, but curiosity got the best of him. He walked slowly up to the kitchen door and slid open a small crack to peek inside, there he saw the most unusual scene in his life: the eldest of his siblings in front of the stove, cooking; he wasn't doing an exceptional job, but at least he was trying.

Shouto froze in a state of shock, his mouth agape and his eyes widened at the scene, he then snapped back to reality as he noticed something and turned slowly to the table set with enough portions for three, something was out of place.

He turned back to his brother, confused but, before he could ask, the Alpha of bright red hair was already staring back at him impatiently.

"Don't you have to get ready for school, Shouto?" He asked rhetorically, trying to get rid of his baby brother's presence.

The Delta eyed the ceiling and held himself back not to say anything that would make him regret later. "I was just wondering why you're cooking, is Fuyumi's food not enough for you?" He crossed his arms in accusation.

"It's not for me." Touya said plainly as he turned off the stove. "Much less for you, shoo!"

The youngster would usually have retorted at level, but his brother's words made him sick at the stomach. "Whatever..." He hissed in between his teeth as he walked away.

Taking a seat at the table, Shouto served himself and tried to get distracted with his bowl of breakfast, but it was hard when the slightest change in the surroundings would bring him back to reality.

"Good morning..." The small Omega greeted sleepily as he stumbled into the room.

"Good morning, Midoriya." Shouto greeted back with a bright smile.

Having Midoriya in his house has always been an emotional rollercoaster; the Omega must have no idea of how much his bicolored friend was grateful to him, the small one's charisma and kindness saved him, but it was more than that...

Not only did he have a personality at the verge of perfection that won Shouto over with his way of being, something in his scent drove the bicolor near the edge of insanity, many times Shouto caught himself holding back not to pounce on Midoriya. He was madly in love, however, it was a crush that only made him feel hurt and miserable.

"Tooouuyaaaaa!" Midoriya sang cheerfully as he quickly hopped into the kitchen.

The bicolor tried to ignore it, but it was no use. It was in mornings like those he had to hold back not to pounce at his eldest brother's neck.

The green-haired boy hugged his courtesan from behind and buried his freckled face in his broad back as the older one packed the overcooked grub, the gesture won a smile from the Alpha.

"Good morning, baby boy." Touya barely looked at the small one as he finished the task.

"I missed you in bed earlier." Izuku purred.

"I was trying to make something special... but 'guess it backfired." He said, disappointed at his work.

Izuku one peeped at what Touya was doing on the kitchen counter; he packed a homemade overcooked katsudon* in a cute, patterned green bentou*.

"That's for me?!" The small one exclaimed.

Touya stared curiously at him from the corner of his turquoise eyes, Midoriya didn't sound offended or disappointed at the slightest, he sounded happy and grateful, ecstatic even.

"If you want to take Fuyumi's cooking for lunch I won't blame you, I can eat... this for breakfast." Touya said, embarrassed as he stared at his "masterpiece".

Izuku quickly took the bentou from his hands, stopping him from wasting a single grain of rice. "Absolutely not! You had all this work for me, I'll eat it."

The Alpha quirked a brow at him. "Sometimes you contempt yourself with so little." He mocked.

The freckled one giggled. "But it was Touya who made it, and you know how much I like katsudon." He said as he laced an arm around the other one's neck.

His partner chuckled and returned the gesture, holding his small waist. "And here I wanted to do something special, but you're the one who always knows how to pamper me the right way."

The Omega giggled a second time as he let his courtesan lean in for a steamy kiss.

At the dining room, Shouto pretty much gave up on his breakfast, feeling nauseous from what he heard from the other room; it wasn't like he wanted to know about the relationship between his best friend and his brother, but he had no choice but to hear absolutely everything that went on between them both, the walls were extremely thin after all.

Seeing that, once again, he wouldn't be able to finish breakfast, the bicolor stood up annoyed and went quickly back into his room, not able to stay another minute near those two. He took his time to dress into his uniform; he knew he was delaying the inevitable, but also didn't want to go back and face that situation, at least he didn't need to worry about the time, he was pretty early.

After checking the content in his school bag, Shouto heard a knock on his door. "Come in." He said monotonously, not bothering to look up.

"Excuse me..." Izuku slid open a small crack of the screen door and peeked inside the room. "Let's get going, Todoroki?"

The bicolor quirked a confused brow at him. "We're still early." He reasoned.

"It's just that I have something to do before class, so..." The greenette trailed off awkwardly, fidgeting with a lock of his curly hair.

Shouto squinted his eyes; he had a hint of what that could be, but decided not to comment on it and stood towards the door where his friend awaited. "Alright... let's get going." He agreed unwillingly.

Opening the door to the corridor, Todoroki was not surprised to see his eldest brother guarding the other side, the older one walked Midoriya along with his youngest sibling up to the front door. Once on the genkan, the high schoolers put on their shoes under the eldest's attentive gaze before Izuku turned back to him. "Bye, Touya! See you later."

"Hm..." The Alpha replied monotonously.

Catching the subliminal message, Izuku squinted his eyes at him with a mocking smile, then walked up to the bottom of the step and laced himself in the arms of his courtesan for a goodbye kiss; Shouto, who held the door open, rolled his eyes and averted his gaze, annoyed.

After a moment, the Omega let go of Touya's arms for his disappointment. "See you later." Izuku reaffirmed.

Touya smiled at those words. "That's a promise." He said with a spank on the small one's butt, who squealed in surprise.

Shouto watched outraged as his friend let go of his brother's arms and lightly smacked his chest with the back of his hand to scold him. "Toyota, behave yourself!" He said impatiently.

"Heeeeeyyy..." Touya grumbled at the nickname.

"We're heading off!" Izuku announced, ignoring the protest of his courtesan who puffed up his cheeks with a frown.

The Omega trotted out the door that Shouto still held open for him and then, with a last exchange of glares between siblings, the bicolor followed after his friend, shutting the door behind him.

It was always a relief to leave the house when Midoriya visited Touya, only did Shouto want to be on the same level; even if it would be completely uncompromised as the Omega always did, Shouto would do anything for a single night with him, that's as far as his obsession goes.

Walking Midoriya throughout the streets was always stressful; although in the company of a Delta, no passersby worried about the slightest possibility of the small Omega to be in a relationship, maybe given the fact that Midoriya was extremely desirable, anyone could agree on that. His intoxicating scent, personality and looks were factors that would make even the strongest of Alphas on all fours for him, not only that, he also had sort of a... reputation.

It's quite hard to find male Omegas who like to belong to the gender, that wasn't Midoriya's case; the greenette was a rare gem, it seemed that he actually liked to be an Omega and took advantage of it to get what he wants when he wants. Despite kind, caring and charismatic, his innocence was long lost, he could manipulate any higher genders quite easily.

Although Midoriya didn't mind the little discreet stares and even took advantage of it, getting to the point of wearing girl's uniform to show off better, it was hard for Todoroki having to deal with all the pressure of accompanying him, especially given the fact of not belonging to the small one's long "list" of courtesans and with no hopes whatsoever of getting a chance to make into it.

But, despite the rejection that hurt him so badly, and despite the fact that it wasn't his business and with the knowledge that Midoriya can do what he wants with his life, Todoroki still wished to protect him, so he was always quite alert by the side of the freckled boy.

His only comfort of walking Midoriya throughout the streets was the fact that the greenette was really irresistible, he did know how to brighten Shouto's mood very well, talking about trivial matters and interests he shared with the bicolor; a few minutes later, that awkward situation in the Todoroki household has gotten behind, the Omega really knew how to win over a smile from anyone, especially his friends.

In the middle of the way, Izuku took the Delta by the hand and went up to a nearby dorayaki* stand, confused, Shouto didn't question it, only followed after.

"Good morning! Give me one with azuki*, please." The freckled one ordered politely.

The seller went quiet for a moment with his mouth agape, clearly dazed by the Omega in front of him, he then smiled suggestively when replying. "Coming right up, sweetie!" He said as he rushed to prepare the pancakes with dexterity.

Izuku seemed not to bother the reply unlike Todoroki, soon, the bicolor turned to the Omega beside him with something in mind. "Didn't you say you had something to do before class? Why did we stop to buy dorayaki?"

Midoriya eyed him with a soft smile. "This was it." He said plainly.

The bicolor stared at him curiously. "I see." He replied slowly.

He thought the rush to have a snack before school was weird, especially given that Midoriya has already had the breakfast Fuyumi cooked for them, but decided not to comment on it.

As the cook finished to prepare the dorayaki, Izuku fetched enough money to pay for it, Shouto was slightly alarmed to see him pulling up his coin pouch. "I can pay for it, if you want." He promptly offered.

"You don't have to, this time's on me." Izuku smiled brightly.

"You sure...? I know your family's not under the best conditions and you know that's not a problem for me." The bicolor insisted.

"Thank you, Todoroki! But you don't need to worry so much."

Shouto simply went silent and nodded, unwillingly letting Midoriya do as he pleased; the greenette set the money on the small tray as the seller handed him the dorayaki with a large smile. Just as he took the pastry in his hands, the Omega offered it to his friend. "Here." He said plainly.

The bicolor quirked a brow, eyeing him confusedly. "What's that for?" He asked.

"You can't skip breakfast, Todoroki, you won't make it until lunch that way." The greenette explained.

At that moment, the seller stopped counting the money and looked up, paying full attention to the high schoolers at his front, they didn't seem to remember his presence however.

Todoroki tightened his lips shut in a thin line, not wanting to touch the subject, much less recall the events of earlier in that morning.

His eyes averted to the sidewalk bellow and soon darted back to the greenette in front of him. "I'm not hungry..." That said, his stomach growled loudly.

The bicolor blushed softly as Midoriya giggled at the lie, he then pushed the dorayaki closer, insisting for his friend to take it.

Todoroki took the pastry in his hands reluctantly, mumbling "thank you" in return.

With that, the greenette walked around his friend towards the subway station, the heterochromatic eyes followed after him until a threatening odor filled up the air. Shouto looked back at the seller, remembering his presence due to the smell of rage enacting from his scent glands.

The bicolor didn't utter a word, he simply bit onto the dorayaki and kept going on his way as the seller glared intensely at him from afar; from the looks of it, Shouto would have to avoid passing by that stand for the rest of his life.

The teenagers went on talking throughout the way to the subway station as the Delta finished up his improvised breakfast; making it to their destination, he insisted to pay for Midoriya's ticket to thank him for the dorayaki, also given the greenette's financial condition, who took it without much insistence.

Onboarding the crowded train, the boys had no choice but to stand throughout the ride, holding firmly onto the side bars; just as Midoriya reached the top bar with some effort, he resumed talking casually with Todoroki who was no longer paying much attention.

If walking Midoriya on the streets was stressful, accompanying him in crowded spaces was nearly unbearable; maybe the greenette didn't mind the other passengers trying to peep under his skirt, but Shouto was plain certain that he wouldn't like to have any stranger groping him; it could be his gullibility or maybe he thought he could be safe enough with a friend, but the small one didn't seem to worry enough.

At the first bump on the wagon, Shouto grabbed Midoriya in his arms before a pervert who was ogling the greenette humped him, trying to make it go by an "accident"; the stranger was visibly bothered to see his plan failing thanks to the bicolor who silently scolded him with his stern gaze. His heterochromatic eyes turned back to the Omega in his arms who stared at Shouto confusedly, waiting for an explanation.

"You can barely reach the bars... it may be easier to hold onto me." He lied.

Izuku smiled with a quirked brow. "Right... Thank you, Todoroki." He said as he readjusted in his friends' arms.

The greenette went back to a previous topic as the awkwardness of the situation slowly faded, but the bicolor couldn't pay much attention as he watched their surroundings, anxiously waiting for the speakers to announce their stop.

Exiting the train was a relief, Todoroki was wondering how much longer he'd have to handle the pressure of watching Midoriya without having to do something stupid to defend him.

The walk to the school building didn't mean he could lower his guard, at least Shouto didn't need to worry about ill-intentioned people near the Omega as much as in the subway.

The boys kept talking as Izuku ignored the whistles and cat-calls he got from other students along the way and Shouto made an effort to do the same, holding himself back as best as he could not to pounce at someone's neck.

Once at the locker room, they both stopped to change their shoes before they heard a familiar voice. "Good morning, Midoriya."

The bicolor frowned while Izuku, smiling wide at the purple-haired Delta, forgot all about his friend. "Oh, Shinsou! Good morning." He gladly greeted back.

The tallest one smiled confidently as he slowly approached the greenette who exhaled joy from every pore of his being and turned to the figure standing behind him. "Oh, good morning, Todoroki! Didn't see you there."

"Is alright, I didn't even notice it..." He grumbled back.

"Are you here to accompany me today, Shinsou?" Midoriya cut in, preventing an argument between the two of them.

With a low, seductive chuckle, the purple one stretched out his hand to the small Omega. "You should know."

"That's very kind of you, thanks!" Izuku exclaimed cheerfully as he handed his yellow backpack to Hitoshi who took it out of good will, he then turned to the bicolor behind him. "Bye, Todoroki! See you in class."

"Sure..." The bicolor mumbled as he watched the purplish Delta guiding Midoriya away from there.

It didn't matter how many times that same old scene happened in front of him, Shouto always felt immensely sad to see the one he loves the most leaving him behind with one of his countless courtesans; "it could've been me" was something that always played on his mind.

Todoroki didn't understand why Midoriya never showed the slightest bit of interest in him, but it was now too late to try his luck, their friendship was too precious to be risked after all, still, Todoroki would risk even that special bond over a single night with the love of his life.
