Just Married

Kirishima eventually apologized to Midoriya as promised, the process to forgiveness was fast, Izuku wouldn't hold a grudge over something like that, however, that was the least of their problems.

“How are things going with Izuku?” Katsuki asked his friends, sitting down with them. “Did you see anyone else stalking?”

“Nope. Looks like they finally left Midoriya alone.” Mina replied.

“And what about that Touya guy?” The blonde pronounced that name in spite.

Kyouka shook her head. “We didn't see anything else. It's weird, but it looks like they all gave up on bothering Midoriya, all of a sudden.”

“That's better, but I want you to keep an eye on him until we're sure that coast is clear.” Katsuki ordered, his friends nodded.

“With all those people going after Midoriya, is because he really is special; you’re lucky to have such a captivating soulmate, Katsubro!” Eijirou congratulated him.

Bakugou grumbled in disgust. “Take your eyes off my soulmate and pay attention to your own, Ei!”

“Is okay, I don't plan on taking him from you.” The redhead laughed with a quirked brow.

“Awe, this whole talk about soulmates makes me feel bad, I wish I was a pure-blooded Succubus to have one as well…” Mina grumbled.

Her friends laughed; being a half-blooded demon, the pink one didn't work as a cupid much less had a soulmate, the cycle ended at the moment she was born.

“It's not as fun as it looks like, trust me.” Hanta reasoned.

“I figure, but I feel left aside!” Mina sighed.

“You're still better than me, I'm the only one here who hasn’t found mine yet!” Hanta replied.

“Wait, so you two have found yours as well?” Katsuki asked Denki and Kyouka.

“Yep! I guess you've been too distracted with Midoriya, so we didn't have a chance to tell you.” The blonde joked.

“Wanna repeat that, Denki?” Katsuki defied him, annoyed.

“Oh, relax, Katsuki! It’s only natural, I get it; you also needed to chase against the clock to win Midoriya back over, so you had to give him more attention.” Denki analyzed.

Bakugou eyed him, surprised. “Sometimes you're not as stupid as you look.”

“Hey!” The blonde protested.

“But, now that you two are cool, I hope you can spend more time with your friends; we still wanna introduce them to you guys.” Kyouka said, ignoring Denki grumbling by her side.

“True that, I still didn't have the chance to introduce you to Itsuka.” Eijirou said.

“Oh, sure, we can set a date sometime soon.” Bakugou agreed.

“Are you still busy in the next few days?” Kyouka asked him.

“Yes, Shimura’s wedding is around the corner.” The blonde explained plainly.

“Wooo! Are you taking Midoriya with you?” Mina asked excitedly.

“Of course, he was also invited after all.” Bakugou said matter-of-factly.

“Then I hope you two have fun at the wedding, Katsubro! I know that's not the kind of thing you'd do in the past, I'm glad you accepted Midoriya!” Eijirou congratulated him once more.

“Ugh… whatever.” Bakugou grumbled, bothered by the turn of the conversation.

His friends smiled, they all had the same thing in mind; Katsuki was very stubborn, it was hard to change his opinion, it's always been something he had to want. He was finally changing and all thanks to Midoriya, which was really good, accepting his soulmate did wonders to him.

On the day of the ceremony, Katsuki’s chauffeur drove him and his date to the church - which, let’s face it, is not any demon’s favorite place, but it wasn’t like Katsuki or Himiko would have a spontaneous combustion.

Izuku was in awe, most particularly by the bride’s dress, especially since Toga didn’t look so aversive at that specific moment; that was the first time he saw her wearing such a pretty makeup, her multiple-layered haircut was also loose and stylized in waves, she even looked… normal. The red lilies bouquet also contrasted well with her white and golden dress.

During the father’s speech before the kiss, Katsuki couldn’t help but notice the dreamy look in his boyfriend’s eyes, who soon spoke up. “It’s beautiful, isn’t it, Kacchan?” He whispered.

Katsuki quirked a brow. “What, exactly?”

“Everything…” Izuku said plainly and turned to his boyfriend. “Have you ever thought of how it’d be like to get married?”

Bakugou shrugged. “I don’t need a ring to prove how much I love you.”

They both exchanged smiles and Izuku leaned against his date’s shoulder.

“I love you too, Kacchan… but it’s not like we could do that anyway…”

“Hey… quit that pessimism, okay? Even though Japanese laws forbid it, we still could find other means if you want it that much.” Katsuki scolded.

Izuku eyed him, surprised. “Would you go that far just to marry me?”

“Not ‘just’ because of that; I don’t think it’s really necessary but, if it’s to make you happy, anything’s worth it.”

The greenette’s smile widened and he leaned back down on Katsuki’s shoulder. “Thank you, Kacchan… but you don’t have to go that far because of me.”

“Of course I do.” Bakugou said kindly as he caressed his boyfriend’s arm.

At last, the crowd applauded the kiss that sealed the matrimony; soon after, there was the wedding reception, they all watched the first dance between the bride and groom before sitting down to talk as some others occupied the dance floor before the buffet. Katsuki was about to take his boyfriend out to dance when Shimura came up to him.

“Are you having fun, Bakugou?”

“Now not so much.”

“Kacchan!” Izuku scolded him.

Shimura laughed. “I figured you wouldn't congratulate me, so I came to you myself.”

“Sure, whatever; can you excuse us?”

Izuku glared at Katsuki, annoyed by his behavior. “I-I’m sorry about that, mister Shimura… I'm happy for you two! By the way, I love your dress, Toga!”

Himiko laughed. “You talk like a girl, Midoriya.”

Her comment made him embarrassed. “Oh-! Well…”

“I'm just messing with you! Thank you, but I'm missus Shimura now, don't forget that.” She said with a wink.

“Oh, sure! Missus Shimura, sorry.” Izuku smiled.

“Look, I'd love to stay and talk, but I'd like to spend some time with my date right now.”

“Damnit, Kacchan!” Izuku scolded him again.

“Is alright, Midoriya, I won't hold you guys for longer. Enjoy the party!” Shimura said serenely as he guided Himiko out of there.

Izuku turned to his boyfriend, about to lecture him on scaring the bride and groom away, but he spoke before the freckled one could open his mouth. “Wanna dance?”

The greenette eyed him confusedly before accompanying Katsuki to the dance floor.

Izuku shyly let himself be guided to the rhythm of the slow music; suddenly all eyes in the room fell upon them, but Katsuki didn't seem to care enough to pay attention to that.

“This is awkward…” The greenette laughed nervously.

“Why?” Bakugou asked.

“Everyone's looking.”

His carmine eyes took a quick glance around the room; for sure, everyone's attention seemed to have been stolen to them both.

“Let's give them a show, then.” Bakugou said as he spun Midoriya in his arms.

“Kacchan… so you don't have a problem with it?” Izuku asked him once they were face to face again.

“Of course not… what's the point of having a boyfriend like you if I can't show you off?”

Izuku blushed and lost his voice, stuttering incoherent words.

Bakugou chuckled. “You look even more adorable with that pretty face all red.”

The greenette eyed him intensely in awe; he usually didn't get that kind of compliment, so he didn't know how to react. He gulped and went quiet, not knowing what to respond and gave himself into the moment.

He never danced like that with anyone before, could he be feeling that much connection and comfort for the moment or because of Kacchan? Either way, that wasn't the time to question it, he didn't have time to waste with something futile.

They almost didn't notice when the music stopped, only when the crowd turned and applauded the live band; Katsuki and Izuku followed the lead before turning back to each other, exchanging intense looks.

On their way back to the table, the couple was stopped by a tattooed guy with red hair accompanied by an elegant, dark-skinned woman; Bakugou instantly shielded Izuku with his own body, glaring at the man intensely.

“That was a nice show, mister Bakugou.” The guy said.

“I didn't expect Shimura to invite his ex secretary.” The blonde grumbled.

The guy shrugged. “I may not have been his best secretary, but Shimura and I are still friends.”

“Right. Could you excuse us now, Todoroki? You're blocking the way.”

Izuku was about to scold Kacchan for his rudeness when he realized something.

“Wait… ‘Todoroki’?” The greenette asked.

“Oh, I see you must have met one of my younger siblings.” The redhead mentioned.

Katsuki rolled his eyes, after all, he knew that Touya knew Izuku and was faking not to, but it wasn't like he could tell the truth on his face.

“Oh! So you're Shouto Todoroki’s older brother?” Izuku asked in surprise.

“That's right, I'm the eldest of four siblings. By the way, Touya Todoroki, nice to meet you.”

“Oh, sure! Izuku Midoriya, nice to meet you too.” The greenette bowed back at him.

“Touya, aren't you going to introduce me?” The dark, white-haired lady mentioned.

“Of course. This is-”

“Rumi Usagiyama, right?” Izuku cut off the redhead.

The lady eyed him, surprised. “Oh, how do you know that?” She asked amusedly.

“You're Mirko, aren't you?” The greenette asked excitedly.

“Nice guess! I didn't think a guy like you liked pro wrestling.” Rumi laughed.

“It’s good to watch from time to time.” Izuku answered awkwardly.

“Look, I’d love to stay and talk, but we have better things to do.”

“Kacchan…” The greenette grumbled at his boyfriend’s cynicism.

“Is alright, I understand that Bakugou prefers to give you attention now, Midoriya… When we find our soulmate, we only have eyes for them, right?” Touya looked at Rumi by his side and she held onto his arm in return.

“Yeah… it is.” Katsuki himself looked at Izuku who eyed him curiously.

“Well, see you later, Bakugou. It was nice meeting you, Midoriya.” Touya said as he guided Rumi out of there.

“Likewise!” Izuku replied as his date guided him back to their table.

Katsuki opened his mouth just as they sat, only didn’t he have time to speak before the greenette pronounced. “Was that serious, Kacchan?”

Bakugou eyed him curiously. “Excuse me?”

“You really think I’m your ‘soulmate’?”

The blonde one stared at him before smiling. “I don’t think so… I’m sure of it.”

Izuku smiled tiredly. “I didn’t know you believed that kinda stuff.”

“You don’t?”

The freckled one shrugged. “I never had an opinion on the subject.”

Bakugou chuckled. “You still have so much to find out, Izuku.”

The greenette quirked a brow at the comment, but could say no more before the buffet was announced.

“Let’s go eat?” The blonde asked as he stood, Izuku had no other choice but to follow him.

In the next moment, the couple was having dinner and laughing together in the middle of their conversation, enjoying the evening once again; Izuku eyed Kacchan from the corner of his eyes as he sipped on his glass of red wine.

“Are you sure you don’t wanna try it?” Bakugou asked as he noticed the green eyes on himself.

“No… I was just thinking how you can drink that.” Izuku joked.

“Maybe you just need to try a softer drink.” Katsuki shrugged.

“I’d rather not, it's not like that’s important.”

Bakugou eyed him from the corner of his eyes before calling a waiter; Izuku tried to stop him when he heard Kacchan ordering for a Mojito, but the waiter already left with the noted order. The greenette turned to his date.

“Is that really necessary?” He said, annoyed.

“Just try something different this time, have some fun.” Katsuki smiled.

“I’m not sure…” Izuku said uncertainly.

“Oh, come on… for me?”

Izuku really didn’t want to drink something with such a repulsive taste, but it’s not like it would be immediately bad for him, so he gave in to Kacchan’s insistence. When his drink arrived, the small one took the glass uncertainly and smelled the liquid before making a face due to the strong scent of alcohol.

“It tastes better than it smells.” He heard Katsuki commenting. “Trust me.”

Izuku then decided to trust his boyfriend and took a small sip, smacking his lips together to taste it better.

“So?” Bakugou asked him amusedly.

“It still has a strong taste of alcohol, but it’s not all that bad.” Izuku shrugged.

His date’s smile grew as if saying “told you so”.

The rest of the evening went by under laughter and celebration, at the end of the party, Rumi caught the bouquet and the bride and groom cut the wedding cake before leaving for their honeymoon.

With the party’s closure late at night, Katsuki invited Izuku to spend the night in his apartment. The greenette was very tired already but, for the Incubus, the night had just been starting.

Izuku barely noticed his date discreetly heading into the kitchen; he left his coat on the armrest of the couch and loosed up his tie with a sigh, that was when Katsuki went back with two wine glasses and a bottle of Gin in each hand.

“‘Few more drinks, Izu? Night’s still not over for us.”

The greenette smiled and gave himself into the moment.

They started drinking in the living room and finished making love in the bedroom; the alcohol made the experience feel very different, the heat of their bodies and the dizziness due to drinking made a more intense, intimate moment, giving themselves in to each other honestly and completely.

Izuku had heard many times how some people forget the experiences they had while drunk, only did he hope not to be one of those people, forgetting that special moment would be a huge waste.
