Izuku woke up with a hangover the next morning, his head hurt so much it felt like it was about to burst and he was still dizzy from the previous night, the bedroom spun around him.

He difficultly supported himself on his elbows on the mattress and held his head in the failed attempt to ease the raging headache as he tried to recall last night; he remembered mister Shimura's wedding and some other events, only didn't he know how he ended up in Kacchan’s bed. He figured what could've happened, but felt frustrated for not remembering it.

He looked around the room but no sign of the blonde one, the greenette then figured he left to work and could've left a note somewhere. Izuku would get up and get dressed to go back home later, now he had to rest his aching head.

“Good morning.” A familiar, serene voice greeted him from the door; Izuku looked up to see Katsuki approaching with a pill chart and a cup that smelled of hot coffee.

“Kacchan… good morning.” Izuku replied groggily.

The Incubus sat by his side on the bed and handed him the cup as he spoke. “I figured you'd wake up with a hangover, so I brought a cappuccino and aspirin.”

The greenette watched his boyfriend detach a pill from the chart and hand it to him.

“Thank you.” Izuku mumbled with a soft smile and swallowed down the aspirin with a few gulps of the drink.

Katsuki caressed his thigh as he waited for Izuku to finish the cappuccino before speaking up; the small one emptied half of the cup and the cupid opened his mouth. “How are you feeling?”

“Terrible.” The freckled one confessed. “Did I drink anything else after the reception?”

Katsuki nodded. “We drank a bit of Gin when I brought you here.”

“Ugh…” The greenette grumbled and turned to Kacchan. “Aren’t you on a hangover, too?”

Bakugou shrugged. “I woke up with a bit of a headache, but already had coffee. You need more than Gin and Wine to knock me out.”

“Amazing.”

“Well, I have to go to work so I'll leave you here, ‘think you need to rest a bit. Will you be fine by yourself?”

Izuku nodded. “Don't worry, I can handle myself.”

They both smiled at each other and Bakugou leaned in for a long kiss; just as they broke, Izuku had a glimpse of the previous night.

“I'm heading out.” The blonde said, caressing his green locks.

Izuku smiled back. “See you later.”

Bakugou got up and, with a last glance at his boyfriend from the door, he left the room.

The greenette leaned against the pillow and took a deep breath, trying to take a better glimpse of what he saw in his mind; he remembered Katsuki kissing him passionately and groping his body on the living room couch, but Izuku’s sight must’ve been blurred by the alcohol, he couldn’t see it very clearly. He tried to remember something else but, for the looks of it, he wouldn’t make it by his own will.

He stayed sitting in bed as he finished his cappuccino until he felt well enough to get up and wash himself before leaving to go on with his day, using the spare key Kacchan gave him to lock the apartment; he went home to change out of the suit from the previous night and went to cook himself lunch, since he pretty much had skip breakfast. When he sat down to eat, he took the chance to check the most recent news on his phone as he used to every morning, and saw something that made him choke.

Katsuki Bakugou and his companionship steal the spotlight at Tenko Shimura’s wedding!

On the previous night (XX/XX) it was celebrated the wedding between Tenko Shimura, owner of the clothing brand Reborn, and Himiko Toga; among the guests there were Katsuki Bakugou, owner of the clothing brand Ichiban, and another man accompanying him; they both have been seen dancing together at the reception. The speculations about Bakugou are running loose!

Izuku ran a hand over his face as he finished coughing; that couldn’t be happening… again. He felt like he should call Kacchan, but didn’t want to bother him at work, he then decided he’d talk to the blonde later when he was back, however, the greenette got a call from the blonde himself after finishing doing lunch’s dishes.

“Hi, Kacchan.” He greeted.

Hi, Izuku… look, I- need to tell you something.

“Is it about the new article on Shimura's wedding?” Izuku sighed with a tired smile, sitting on the table with a hand towel hanging over his shoulder.

Katsuki made a pause before continuing. “I didn't know you’ve already seen it… Aren't you upset?

“Surprised, yes, but not exactly upset, with you much less.”

Really?

“‘What's the point of having a boyfriend like you if I can't show you off?’” Izuku mimicked cheerfully.

Good.” He could hear the smile in Kacchan’s voice. “Either way, I was summoned to another conference meeting because of that article.

The greenette’s smile fell as he heard those words. “What…?”

They want to hear from me, go figure.

“But you shouldn’t have to explain yourself.”

I know, just try saying that to the press.

“I’m sorry…”

It’s not your fault, Izu. See you tonight?

The greenette smiled, his good mood suddenly returning. “Sure.”

So I’ll see you then. Love you.

“Bye, Kacchan.”

With that, they both hung up and went on with their days.

At nightfall, Katsuki went to see Izuku as promised, it's been some time since the Incubus didn't visit his boyfriend's home.

He looked serious when the greenette opened the door for him, so they sat down to talk.

“Is everything alright, Kacchan?” Izuku asked him worriedly.

Katsuki made a pause to sigh, searching for the right words in his mind. “The conference meeting will be in a week.” He said plainly.

Izuku quirked a confused brow. “What’s your point?”

“Look… I know we're in a relationship… and that's why I need to ask you what I can or cannot say on live TV.”

The freckled one's face heated. “W-well, I mean… Do you think it's a good idea to tell the truth about that…?”

“I don't, but I need to hear from you. None of us is on this alone, and I know we've been keeping it somewhat a secret until now, but what do you want?”

The greenette gulped, weighing the consequences in his mind.

“I won't pressure you. If you want to keep it a secret, I'll understand; I know it may sound scary: confessing about our relationship to the whole country, that's why I need to know what you want.” Bakugou said softly.

“But… if you do it, there'll be a drop on sales’ numbers and several people will boycott Ichiban… right?”

“You're more important than that, Izuku.”

The greenette eyed him with his big, shiny eyes, Katsuki smiled. “Being number one in the market is not more important than being number one for you.” The blonde confessed.

Izuku smiled back and the first few tears sprouted from his eyes. “Kacchan… Well… in that case, I think it's best if we keep it a secret…”

Bakugou wiped his cheek with a thumb and held his freckled face, forcing the greenette to look up at him.

“Is that really what you want?” He asked sternly and Izuku hesitated. “I'll have to tell the truth.” The blonde one announced.

“But- Kacchan-!”

“You're more important to me, Izuku, I told you… If it was about minding what people will say I would understand, but you want to put something futile on first.”

The freckled one lowered his gaze and his tears flowed silently after that scold; Bakugou forced him to look up once more.

“Look… I found out that there’re more important things in life than money and power… You understand that, right?” He asked softly.

Izuku showed about a shaky smile. “Thank you, Kacchan.” He whispered in a nosy voice.

“You don't have to.” Bakugou whispered back and approached his face.

They kissed slowly until Izuku broke it from the lack of air, then they touched their foreheads on one another and looked at each other intensely.

“I love you.” The Incubus whispered once more.

Izuku nodded. “Me too.”

Later, Katsuki helped to cook dinner and they ate together, the rest of the evening was filled with movies and kisses until Izuku fell asleep beside Kacchan, the blonde smiled and, turning off the TV, carried his boyfriend into the bedroom where he carefully laid the greenette in bed, caressing his locks and kissing his temple.

He had to go back home for he worked on the next day, but Katsuki couldn’t hold himself back when seeing Izuku sleeping so peacefully; he then invited himself to stay, joining the greenette under the covers, hugging him in his slumber and falling asleep soon after under his hair’s scent.

Izuku woke up on the next morning feeling another body in his bed, it took him some time to realize he was in his room with Kacchan by his side; the blonde eyed him lovingly, caressing his waist.

“Good morning.” He greeted in a hoarse voice.

“Good morning.” Izuku smiled and stretched. “Did you spend the night here?”

Katsuki shrugged. “I’d go home, but thought it twice after seeing you sleeping like that.”

The freckled one quirked a brow with a smile, they then approached for a kiss.

“Will you stay for breakfast?” The greenette asked him.

“Ugh… I’d love to, but I have to go back home and get dressed before leaving.” Bakugou grumbled.

“Oh, yeah! You have to go to work.” Izuku pointed out.

“Right… see you later?”

“Sure.”

With a last peck on his lips, Katsuki got up and left the room; Izuku stared at the door until his alarm rang. After a quick shower and breakfast, the greenette went up to company Reborn and sat down at his workplace, soon after, Shimura showed up, heading to his office.

“Good morning, mister Shimura!” Izuku greeted him cheerfully.

“Good morning, Midoriya… Listen, could you come to my office, please?” His boss asked.

Izuku turned confused to his coworker who simply shrugged, the freckled one then complied and went up to the door of Shimura’s office, which the one himself was holding open so that he could pass through. They both got in and sat down, Tenko cleaned his throat before opening his mouth.

“I’ll head straight to the point, Midoriya… everyone saw you and Bakugou dancing together at my wedding reception, it even showed up on the news.”

Izuku froze. “Y-yes, I… heard.” He said slowly.

Tenko nodded. “I don’t have words to apologize to you about that… I made sure to invite only my closest ones, but I guess that the paparazzi always do find their own ways.”

The greenette eyed him surprised and relieved at the same time; for a moment there, he thought he’d get a warning or worse…

“So… you’re not upset, sir?”

“I believe you are the one who should be, nobody wants to have their privacy broken in like that.”

Izuku smiled. “There’s no problem, mister Shimura! I don’t mind.”

Shimura widened his eyes in surprise. “Really?”

“Yes… It was shocking, right? But I don’t find it all that bad; besides, it’s not your fault.”

Tenko smiled. “And how’s Bakugou?”

“It looks like he’s dealing well with the news, as weird as it may sound.” Izuku laughed awkwardly.

“Really? That’s unexpected of him, but I’m glad. I wish him good luck at the meeting.”

“Thank you, sir.”

Shimura nodded. “I’m relieved to settle this; that was it, Midoriya, you may go.”

With a brief bow, Izuku left the room; his coworker stared curiously at him as he went back to the desk with a wide smile on his face.

“‘Looks like it was a good talk.” Atsuhiro mentioned.

“Oh- well… It was really nothing much in the end.”

“Really? I thought you’d get a warning, it makes me relieved.”

“Right…?” The greenette laughed awkwardly.

That conference meeting thing was only making Izuku more nervous by the moment, it was like someone was stalking him and Kacchan. He felt like he couldn't have his peace of mind any longer, a consequence of dating a celebrity, but the greenette couldn't blame him.

Katsuki had denied about their relationship last time, but now it was different and Izuku knew his boyfriend would confess everything at the conference meeting; the greenette didn't know how to feel about that, especially with the boycott that Ichiban certainly would suffer after everything.

He knew how being number one has always been important for Kacchan and he felt guilty about making his boyfriend do what he wants for the sake of their relationship, even though the blonde himself has said that the businesses were no longer more important than Izuku, it was also Kacchan himself who insisted about telling the truth, but the greenette couldn't help but feel guilty.

Keeping their relationship a secret was the hardest part of dating Kacchan, Izuku couldn't help but feel jealous when a model or business woman hit on him; Kacchan always turned them down but, with all of them thinking that the blonde could be single and especially with the insufficiency Izuku felt, he thought it was just a matter of time so that someone more interesting would show up and take his place.

After next week’s shift, the greenette went straight home and turned the TV on the news channel; the conference meeting hadn't started yet because he was too early, he didn’t even take off his work suit due to the anticipation.

Soon after he sat on the couch, Izuku heard the doorbell ringing and ran up to answer the door with the TV still on, spotting Iida, Uraraka and Todoroki on the other side.

“Guys…?” Izuku asked confusedly at their gloomy expressions.

“Izuku… can we come in?” The brunette asked.

“Uh… I’m kind of busy now.”

“We know, the conference meeting is about to start, right?” The bicolor mentioned.

Izuku furrowed his brows at him. “How do you know-?”

“Everyone saw it… so we thought that maybe you’d like company at a time like this.” Iida pushed at his glasses.

The greenette hesitated. “I don’t know…”

“We know it’s important for you, you didn’t even see the texts we sent.” Uraraka quirked a brow.

“We’re here to support you, Midoriya, let us do that.” Todoroki said sorrowfully.

Izuku eyed each of his friends uncertainly until moving aside to let them pass through, they all smiled as they walked by him.

“Thanks, guys.” The greenette said as he closed the door.

“That’s what friends are for, right?” Iida chopped the air towards him.

They all sat down anxiously in front of the TV; the meeting would be a few minutes ahead, so they decided to talk to spend time.

“Did Bakugou talk to you about the meeting, Midoriya?” Todoroki asked him.

“Yeah… he said he'll tell the truth.” Izuku mentioned slowly, shocking his friends.

“And are you okay with that?” Uraraka asked worriedly.

“Yeah… actually, I'd rather have it that way.” Midoriya confessed.

“But people won't leave you alone with that information in their hands, how are you gonna deal with that?” The bicolor asked him worriedly.

“I know… but, in a way, it's better than Kacchan lying and we keep dating in secret. I'd rather be judged than be acknowledged as just ‘a friend’.” Midoriya said melancholically.

His friends went quiet. “There really couldn't be anything worse than going through that in a relationship.” Iida mentioned, Uraraka nodded.

“Thanks, guys.” Izuku smiled at his friends.

When the meeting was announced, the greenette turned up the volume of the TV and they all fell silent, frightened by what would come out of there.

“Katsuki Bakugou has recently been spotted at Tenko Shimura’s wedding dancing with another man, we’ll now listen to his version.” The reporter announced. “Mister Bakugou, what do you have to say about that?”

“The speculations are true.” Katsuki said without holding back to the shock of the audience. “That ‘other man’, like you just said, is Izuku Midoriya, and we are in a romantic relationship. I don’t know why summon a conference meeting for-”

“Well…! That’s what he had to say…” The reporter cut off. “Let us go back to the news-”

“Wait!” A reporter in the audience stood up, calling everyone’s attention. “Mister Bakugou… wouldn’t Izuku Midoriya be the man whom you posed with at a fashion show, by any chance? You said he was ‘just a friend’ at the last meeting, what do you have to say about that?”

Bakugou visibly looked like he was holding himself back not to lash it out on her. “He was my friend… for we ended up getting romantically involved after that, is that what you wanted to hear?” He said sternly.

“I hope you know what that means for your brand, mister Bakugou.” Another reporter stood up. “We all know that homoerotic relationships are badly seen by the public.”

Katsuki scoffed. “You’re one to talk! You all think that sneaking into someone’s private life is acceptable but, when homosexuals are pushed against the wall, everyone unites against them. Nice vision of values you got there!”

The crowd went crazy at the sermon, a fuss boiled up amongst the reporters and cameras flashed around. They were almost cutting off the transmission when someone else spoke up.

“Well, I guess it can no longer be helped…” They all went quiet and sat down as they noticed the figure moving in the crowd, going up to the podium.

Tenko placed himself beside Bakugou and the blonde covered the microphone with his hand, whispering to him. “What are you doing?” He asked warily.

“Saving your ass.” Tenko whispered back as he took Katsuki’s place at the microphone. “If you are going to judge Bakugou and Midoriya for being in a relationship, I suppose you should include me on that… for I support them.” The crowd seemed to be holding their breaths at Shimura’s words. “My wedding was opened only for close ones, no paparazzi should’ve gotten access, but it looks like the precautions weren’t enough for someone to crash in; if no one was stalking us just for being public identities, my friends’ privacy wouldn’t have gotten violated. I think that’s enough for tonight.”

With that, Tenko left with Katsuki following right behind; the reporters stood up, wanting to know more, but they both had already left at once and the transmission was cut off, giving place to the regular news.

The anchor went on with the news embarrassed by what happened at the meeting while, on the other side of the screen, Izuku cried as his friends comforted him. Not much later, the greenette's phone buzzed with a new message from Kacchan.

Can I see you?

Izuku smiled shakily as he typed in a reply.

“Is that Bakugou?” Todoroki asked.

“Yeah… Sorry, I think you'll have to go.” The freckled one told his friends.

They all looked hesitant at the request.

“Will you be fine, Izuku?” Uraraka asked worriedly.

“Is okay, guys, I'll see you later.” The greenette insisted.

The group left much against their will, minutes later, the doorbell rang again. Izuku answered it to see Kacchan wearing a mask, sunglasses and a cap; he quickly invited himself in and sighed relieved once on the genkan*.

“Kacchan…?”

“Sorry, Izuku… it was really hard just to get rid of the reporters. How are you feeling?” Katsuki asked as he took off the mask and glasses.

“Yeah, I'm… I'm okay-!” The greenette sobbed.

“Izuku!” Katsuki didn't think twice, he just held the small one in his arms where he sobbed uncontrollably; the blonde caressed his green hair until he was a bit more calm.

“Thank you, Kacchan…”

Katsuki raised a brow. “What for?”

“For telling the truth… for standing up for us.”

“I just did what I had to… Did you eat? I can cook you dinner.”

Izuku shook his head. “You must be tired, I don't wanna bother.”

“Don't be like that, come on.”

“Uwah?!” Izuku exclaimed in surprise when his boyfriend picked him up in his arms, kicking his shoes off on the genkan and carrying the small one up to the kitchen.

The cupid made the greenette's favorite as the one himself watched him, when Katsuki set the table and they sat down to eat, the blonde turned to his boyfriend before they picked up the hashis*.

“Wanna talk about that, Izuku?” He asked softly.

The small one shook his head. “No… you being here is already enough.” He smiled shyly.

Bakugou smiled in understanding and caressed his green locks before they served themselves.

The Incubus spent the night in his boyfriend's home watching movies and cuddling him so that the both of them felt a bit better after that “bomb” dropped, then they laid down in Izuku's bed where they fell asleep in each other's arms, forgetting all about every bad feeling from that situation in that special moment.
